Nebraska Health Care Association (NHCA)Direct Care Staff Award Winner
The
following is a quote from Jennifer Setlak, RN-Assistant Director of
Nursing: "Since Chandra arrived at BSM, she has positively impacted the
atmosphere of her neighborhood. Her glowing personality is contagious. She radiates warmth, compassion and respect."
Chandra will be receiving her award on April 24th, 2012 in Kearney at
the NHCA/NALA Spring Conference.
NHCA provides several
opportunities to honor facility employees with special awards throughout
the year. Award ceremonies are held in conjunction with the Spring and
Fall Conventions.
Six honorees are
chosen, one from each NHCA district. Honorees may hold such positions as
Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Aide, Medication Aide, Restorative
Aide, Activity Assistant, Dietary Aide, Housekeeping Aide, Laundry
Assistant, and others directly providing resident care in a
long term care facility. Nominations should not include licensed staff
or department heads. Nominations can be made by any management staff of
a long term care facility.
